Mojave Run ("the Game") is a wasteland arcade driving game developed and published by the Mojave Run team. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Game collects, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Data We Collect

The Game is designed to minimize data collection. Here is what we may collect:

• Gameplay data — High scores, run statistics, profile names, vehicle selections, and achievement progress. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our servers if you choose to create a Cloud Save account.
• Cloud Save account — If you opt in, we store a randomly generated account ID and an authentication token. No email, real name, or personal identifiers are required.
• Crash and performance analytics — We may collect anonymized crash reports, frame rate data, and device information (OS version, device model, screen size) to improve game stability. This data does not identify you personally.
• Push notification tokens — If you grant notification permission on mobile, we store a device push token to deliver game notifications (daily challenges, season changes). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
• In-app purchase records — Transaction IDs and product identifiers are processed through the Google Play Store. We do not collect or store payment details (credit card numbers, billing addresses).
• Multiplayer relay — During co-op sessions, your chosen driver name and vehicle are shared with other players in the same room via our relay server. No persistent personal data is retained from multiplayer sessions.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Real names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Location data (GPS or network-based)
• Contact lists, photos, or files from your device
• Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking profiles

3. How We Use Data

• To save and restore your game progress
• To display scoreboards and leaderboards
• To improve game stability and performance
• To deliver push notifications you have opted into
• To validate in-app purchases

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data may be shared only:

• With Google Play Services for purchase validation and crash reporting
• With other players in a multiplayer session (limited to driver name and vehicle)
• If required by law or to protect our legal rights

5. Data Retention

Local game data persists on your device until you uninstall the Game or clear app data. Cloud Save data is retained on our servers for as long as your account exists. Multiplayer session data is ephemeral and not stored after the session ends.

6. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all server communications and store authentication tokens securely. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Choices

• Cloud Save — Opt-in only. You can play entirely offline with local saves.
• Push Notifications — You can enable or disable these in your device settings at any time.
• Data Deletion — Uninstalling the Game removes all local data. To request deletion of Cloud Save data, contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
